NFR Honeymoon - Part 3

 Our visit to Hoover Dam!
One of the over spill outlets.
This is how low the lake was.

This is the new bridge. There is no through traffic over Hoover dam now, except for tourists visiting the dam.
 Arizona time!

 New Mexico time!

A statue of one of the workers who built the mine.
Don't worry. I only pointed the camera over the edge. I didn't look too far over the edge.
We visited the Bass Pro shop in the Silverton! It was pretty cool.

This was a HUGE aquarium in the Silverton! We arrived just in time to see their "Staff Marine Biologist" hand feed the Sting rays and Sharks.

This was an aquarium with Jelly fish. It would change colors every so often.

Odin, enjoying the view. I enjoyed the view too! ;o)

The Sting rays were pretty big. They looked like they were flying.

You can really see the mouth of this Sting ray.

 This is a Puffer Fish.
This is back in the Bass Pro Shop.

 Aw oh!!!!

NFR Honeymoon - Part 2

We went and visited the Mandalay Bay aquarium!

There was another "Cowboy Christmas" type show at Mandalay bay! Tommie Turvey, Equine Extremist was doing short presentations.
This is his dog. He is some kind of Australian herding dog, but not an Australian Shepherd.

This is the Million dollars at one of the old casinos down on Fremont Street.
We sure enjoyed watching the light show above Fremont Street.

We went up in the Stratosphere. This is the view from ~ 800 feet in the air!

Odin was pretty excited to visit the Pawn shop, where the show "Pawn Stars" is filmed. It was a tiny "hole in the wall". Definitely not a place I would walk into and say "Wow, this would be an awesome place to have a show."
At the entrance to the Rodeo, Guy McLeod - "Australia's Leading Horseman" did a demonstration. His horses were beautiful and very well trained. It was quite impressive.

He said this horse is his "go to horse" his "super hero horse", so he figured the horse needed a cape.

This was his grand finale!! The horse underneath was practically falling asleep! I couldn't believe it.
