Valentine's Day

Odin asked me if I had any ideas for Valentine's Day. So, I told him I just wanted it to be a surprise and for whatever we did to be romantic......

So, he and Jimmy put their heads together (which is alway dangerous) and came up with a plan. We met at Target then drove through many different "resturant" parking lots to confuse Courtney and I. We finally ended up eating at Big Mouth Bar-B-Q! It was good food. The second surprise they had for us was to take us roller skating. Goodness, I haven't roller skated since I was very little.

This is a picture of Odin and I "gracefully", I mean carefully making our way around the floor.
This is Jimmy and Courtney. They are doing pretty well! The little girl to the right, behind me was a 3rd grader, who tried to encourage me by telling me "At least your trying!" Boy, did that make me feel old.
This is one of the "tricks" Odin was showing off with!! He makes it look sooooo easy doesn't he?

Anyways, fun was had by all and my appreciation grew for Odin, who comes up with the most unique ways to surprise me!! Thanks for a wonderful Valentine's Day, TDH :o)

The after Christmas, Christmas gift

So, the day after Christmas, Odin, Calli and I got in the pickup. We were going to Ennis, Montana via West Yellowstone, or so I thought. When we got to Three Forks, Odin told me he had other plans. Although, the weather was hair raising at time, the road trip was fun...The surprise was a sleigh ride and a stay in a cabin at a Guest Ranch just outside of Big Sky. The sleigh ride (which was a new experience for me) was a lot of fun and the cabin (which had its own fireplace) was just wonderful.
We did end up going through West Yellowstone and Ennis, but didn't stay long as the weather, visability and roads were pretty bad. All in all, it was a great trip and I hope we can go back during the summer.
Odin comes up with the best surprises!
